Brick's postwar housing boom created a huge inventory of ranches, Capes and split-levels that are now 50 to 70 years old and frequently on their third roof. Many of those roofs were layered or installed with minimal underlayment and no ice and water shield. The lagoon neighborhoods along the Metedeconk and the bay were hammered by Sandy, and while many homes were raised or rebuilt, a good number still carry their pre-storm roofs.

Yes. Brick is the northern end of our core service area and we work there regularly. It is about 40 minutes up the Parkway, which is a normal commute for our crew.
A properly installed new roof addresses most of it. We install ice and water shield well past the warm wall line at the eaves and correct intake and exhaust ventilation so the attic stays cold. We will also flag insulation issues we see, since those contribute too.
