Yes. Architectural shingles come in profiles and colors that suit historic homes, and standing seam metal can be a period-appropriate option as well. We will show you samples against the house before you decide.

For direct lagoon and bay exposure, we think so. Standing seam metal handles uplift and salt far better than shingles and can last twice as long. That said, high-wind architectural shingles are a solid, more affordable option and we install both.
